So, since Cherry_man1 is going to be back in town, and it’s the first C&C of the season, I was thinking we could all get together afterward, maybe around 12 or so, and get BBQ.
I’m thinking Roscoe’s out on K-32 might work again, or other suggestions are welcome.
Any/all Opponauts are welcome.
Picture of what I’ll be driving, for your time.

Man, that is a clean-ass old K-car.

I’m game.
Just look for a red cobalt this time.

A Dynasty? Hell yeah!
I never see those around anymore.

A one-family (can’t say one-owner, because it was my great-grandparents’ car, then my great-uncle’s car) one at that, with just under 68k on it.

I’ll be in a fancy K-car. It’s even got the factory chrome mirrors and upgraded stereo. :D

I love it. I have a severe nostalgia for the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. I love seeing older “normal” (non sports-car) cars like that.

I briefly lived in an ‘89 - white - rental car spec with wire hubcaps and the 3.0 Mitsubishi engine that seemed to smoke constantly. it blew its head gasket in a spectacular fashion one afternoon. It ran but was pushing hot exhaust into the cooling system.

The Mitsubishi 3.0 was pretty terrible. It makes me glad I’ve got a ‘92 with the Chrysler 3.3, which is so much better that it’s not even funny.

Then, you’ll really appreciate this bit of nostalgia on the inside.

I like this idea

Isn’t that 3.3 the basis of the pushrod minivan engine that was just retired in like 2012?

Yep. Tough as nails, quiet, torquey. Decent motor.
